Amazing Sheddies
We look back at a previous winner to inspire your friends & family to enter their shed.
This winning shed from 2012 is the Woodhenge
This was the shed when the media started to take a bigger interest and there were two different photographers there when I went to give sheddie John Plumridge the trophy.
The shed started of as a pergola, it then changed to a gazebo because i put a roof on it, the apple tree had to go to make room for the bar and the rest is now history
Like all the winners John s has improved and extended his shed since the win.

A- Frame Potting shed
"A unique a-frame potting shed / garden store with dragon sculpture, and Anglo-Saxon runes, clad in cedar."
"The shed contains three separate sections:
A semi-open glazed potting area, with a large potting bench and storage for pots, compost, canes, seed trays etc.
An inner secure tool storage area with a mezzanine for additional storage.
A secure mower store."
A-frame Potting Shed - "Designed and built by Steve & Judy. Steve is a paraplegic and full-time wheelchair user but he and Judy have found imaginative ways to erect the shed together." Unexpected/Unique - Dorset #she#shedoftheyearpreadersheds.co.uk/share.cfm?SHAR…p

BBC research and development are doing some, what seems like jiggery-pokery in their shed but in fact it's to help people get a better radio signal.
Discover how we've been working with @BBCSounds to create a system which recreates the mobile signal in locations with poor reception - to improve the experience for viewers and listeners.
And we did it from a garden shed during lockdown!

I have gone back to Instagram after about 10 months as I was not going out and taking photos myself (due to Covid-19) hopefully looking at photos of sheds, will inspire me to take more photos again as it’s good for the soul.
Mark Simpson, an architectural designer has been taking great photos of British architecture during lockdown but more importantly for a sheddie like me, the great sheds he finds on his allotment site - View here> httshedblog.co.uk/2021/03/12/bri…#sh#shedphotoso#loveshedsl#allotmentst

What's the most terrifying/funny but when you think about it, not that unexpected thing you have found in your shed?
The things you find when clearing out the shed. A 6ft long scythe😂

Your Builds
If you are starting a shed build in your garden, could be storage, office, pub, workshop & definitely if it's a folly, then let me know as I would like to follow the progress and pass it onto the sheddies who are maybe looking to do the same.
